I got banned for saying a remark in OOC going by the following - The world needs reform, starting with the Jews. Nothing in that remark is discriminatory, reform means for something to change.
This was said in OOC while other people were also saying stuff in OOC regarding politics and other things, it wasn't just myself and it had being happening throughout the planetary myself included and followed after the DB.
Also when I messaged the person who banned me for clarity about it they said I was banned because my message followed someone talking about reforming the world and firing nukes.
I typed my message not acknowledging what the individual said and was told that I was banned for this reason, because someone said something about nukes and when I used the same word as he did, it was implied that I wanted the Jews to be nuked which is wholesale incorrect, even I understand that is too far and would not be angry if I was banned for this reason.
It was liked speaking to an AI, the person who I messaged was blunt and seemingly didn't care about his actions despite the fact had he of tried to speak to me about it at the time there could of been clarity and this whole situation of a ban likely avoided, however a warn would probably be fair.
While I understand the staff members reason for my ban from his point of view, I feel like I should of being spoken to on the server about it rather than getting banned without any warning.
In my opinion with context the ban is unfair, people were joking and taking the piss and I feel that was blatant, yet because I said something and used similar phrasing as a message that I didn't even write I have been banned for a discriminatory remark as without said persons message my remark wasn't discriminatory., also want to clarify I did not read the message before I sent mine.
