Our enemy continues to advance with new technology thus growing a need for the Republic to expand its arsenal and devise new tactics in the never ending war. The intelligence program is now being opened to the wider army.
The core job roles of the Republic Intelligence Service consist of:
- Heading Research and Development with the input from the Head of Engineering
- Running military trainings for Special Forces alongside their officers
- Commanding Special Operations
- Running the ARC Program
- Counter intelligence
- Identifying, planning and suggesting sectors for conquest to naval officers
- Granting and denying financial requests made by naval officers, these may include:
- Ship Construction
- Ship/Repair Yard construction
- Ship Repairs
- Construction of mines
- Space Station construction
- New ship types into production
- Internal Affairs investigations with evidence being submitted for tribunals whilst holding the role of prosecution during tribunals
- Administrating the Republics Most Wanted board
Agents are handpicked from the Republic Navy, only the finest officers have a chance at selection after a rigorous application stage. Naval Officers must obtain the rank of Lieutenant before applying.
The Intelligence Service's goal is to open a new playing field with a redesigned approach to certain interactions and much more opportunity. All Agents are granted Clearance level 6. Their duty when on base is to ensure fairness, equality and honesty.
Agents do not take orders from On Duty officers and are only governed externally by the admiralty.
